FOXBORO TOOL REPAIR, INC. REPAIR POLICIES
· Labor is charged out by units. Units are in 6 minute intervals, and time for repair will be charged. Minimum charge is 3 units. *Rates vary per tool. · Must inform of problem and/or repairs requested along with a name and number in which we can contact if needed. · Include with tool nails, fuel cells, blades, and batteries for this could be the issue. *DO NOT SHIP lithium ion batteries for it is against shipping policies. If a lithium ion battery is received through shipping, the battery will not be returned with tool. Also include all safety items and if pneumatic, the air fitting. If tool is received with out these items they will be replaced. Including the cord if insulation ripped and/or ground plug missing. · All repairs will be completed if cost is below 50% of the cost of a new tool. However, if the cost is close or above 50% of the cost of a new tool, you will be notified to make the decision on whether the repair is performed or not. If the decision is made NOT to perform the repair a minimum of 3 units will be charged and the tool will be returned unassembled. *We can not do free estimates · Requested repairs for warranty must be accompanied by a bill of sale and a detailed description of the problem with the tool. Also make sure to give your name, number, and address. If the tool is not covered under warranty or no problem can be found, the above polices will be followed unless other wise requested by customer not to repair if not covered under warranty and a minimum of 3 units will be charged. *NOT all problems with a tool, still with in its warranty range, can be covered. · We stand behind our work and all repairs are covered for 60 days, from the date of completion, for faulty parts installed and/or workmanship. If a tool just repaired has a separate failure from work performed the above policies will be followed. · If returning a tool that has just been repaired, make sure to send a copy of the invoice or packing slip from previous repair. · We are not responsible for tools left here for over 30 days after the repair.
